I joined the website 6 days and have not gambled for that time but i didnt realise how difficult it was going to be . I have just had an offer from l*******s gamble £40 over the next two days and get £10 freeplay on Thursday . I am going to ignore it but its not easy i keep thinking just a tenner but we all know where that leads .

Have you self-excluded from these companies? If so, they shouldn't be sending you any offers.
No not yet i have gone a week now and not gone in one .I am waiting for a therapist to ring but nothings happened yet.

Online, shops, etc. a lot of people find self-exclusion (which is not perfect) very helpful in the early days when there is still potentially temptation.
Obviously I do not know your circumstances which is your business but I would urge you to self-exclude from everything you used then move on from that.

You & me both on the shops mate but £10 freeplay...That’s big of them. Sounds tempting but doesn’t even work out as well as a buy 3 get 1 free & regardless of who needs 4 of anything, you’d @ least have something to show for your efforts.

Maybe you could have a look @ GA/other support groups to kick start your recovery whilst you wait for the counselling to get into place.
