cheers, yeah... she almost always tells me straight after she slips up these days, and thanks to all the measures we've put in place, the damage is extremely limited compared to how it was even a year ago. the slip ups are becoming less frequent, maybe once every couple of months now, and as it's only ever a maximum of £30, i still get upset and angry about it, but i've not had to do any serious damage limitation (compared to how it was even a year ago) so its a lot less stressful than it used to be!

once we've got the house and job stress sorted, i'm going to stamp down completely on any slip ups - probably insisting she goes back to meetings or something. we'll get to that once the other stuff is sorted though...

as i said, hopefully this time next year it will be a post with entirely good news. but things are definitely improving compared to how things were 2-3 years ago! 🙂

i loved this post, sums up my life too, apart form the periods bit of course, because my husband is the gambler. PMT does cause a flurry of checking up on him but thats more down to me losing my hormonal marbles than him going of the rails.

sometimes i wonder about having the strength to keep all this up forever, its good to know someone else is managing it.
