Thanks for your message and for thinking of us as individuals rather than 'an organisation'. It's true that we get some criticism, but that's the nature of operating a service such as this where feelings often run high and need to be aimed at someone. We do try and keep the forum as free as we can, as well as as safe as we can. It won't always suit everyone, but overall I think it's ok, and we do take on board constructive feedback where it is given.

It's not altogether thankless, people do say nice things too! Happy new year to you as well.

Hi Volcano Thankyou for the post and words of support. Where has the time gone! I only found out in November. Everyone's story is different but ultimately leads to the same horrible addiction. Yes we're all human and react and manage life events differently and we all need help now and again for different reasons. Once I knew everything I did go into mum mode as I have done for any problem any of my children have had. Anyways everything is in hand now. I will be keeping a close eye on things and we will decide together when he feels responsible and strong enough to manage his finances again. There is so much support on this forum for both families and cg and it is great we can all work to support each other through difficult times and continue to encourage.
