Hi allÂ
Â
I’m new here, I came across this website googling the online casino laws and how I managed to spend upwards of £50,000 without any kind of checks or making sure I can afford this.Â
Finally after losing at least £50k within the space of less than a week I’ve received an email asking for the usual ‘affordability checks’.
Slightly too late, I am 32 year old problem gambler
Hi there. Â I do not know the legal stance regarding the late reply from the casino but this hits hard as a realisation of what we are all dealing with whether it is investment gambling or high risk trading the common themes are warning paragraphs at the final deal button Â
Lets not give anymore of our hard earned money to the tap of a button pool together and do helpful and useful work in our society move out of yourself and you will be amazed at your future life
I wouldn't usually advise this but given the size of the money lost personally I would be contacting the gambling operator and saying they haven't complied with customer welfare , know your customer regulations nor anti money laundering regsÂ
Â
I would threaten to go to gambling commission and potentially the media
Â
I have a strong suspicion you might just get some sort of compensationÂ
Wow, I really um. Nothing I could say would makes you feel worse, but moving forwards you may just end up having to swallow that money. I hope you get some help. Everyone at gamcare are totally awesome. The chat rooms offer a great support. Also find a local ga. Don't beat yourself up too much. It's just money. You have your future and your health.
Â
Best wishesÂ
