And every week I blow every penny in the bookies not roulette stupid machine games could put in a tenner win 300 but it's never enough I could win 3000 and still blow it all iv now got alopetia on my head with the stress . This is the first time iv came public so I'm hoping it's a start to overcoming this I'm lucky I still have a wife I take my moods out on her when I lose or try hide the fact I lost my money or make an excuse but she's not daft I just want to be normal again

I was brought down by the bookies and in particular the slots. Before work, lunchtime, after work and every day. I confessed when we had no money left.
I have not been in a bookies and not gambled for 181 days with a very simple philosophy.
I handed all my cards and cash to my wife. Every day I leave the house I carry no money. No money = no bookies and no gambling. If I was given cash for anything I provide a receipt to the penny.

Hi Riff-raff. We've all been where you are right now mate !. We know the feeling well. Youre right when you say "enough's never enough !! " and for a compulsive gambler like you and I it never will be and that's the problem. You have to stop as you will never win . It's taken me many years to learn this and cost me many thousands in the process and like you on the machines . You need to exclude yourself from as many bookies as you can , its easy to do and only takes a couple of photos and a few minutes !. Also look at letting your wife take control of your money and cards . As Balvaird says , no money you cant bet !!. Good luck buddy . You know you can and that you have to do this !
