I came clean to my fiance last week and told my immediate family the next day about my losses in the past. Everyone was very loving and supportive. Just told the future mother in law yesterday. She was very understanding and supportive as well. Still struggling to come to terms with all that's come to light in the last week. It's gonna take some time for things to get back to normal, but I'm taking it one day at a time and making the necessary changes. My fiance is still struggling to come to terms with it all, which is understandable. Things are strained atm and I need to try to be understanding that things aren't just going to go back to normal overnight. I've broken her trust and that's going to take time to repair because of my actions.

I'm in the same position but I've broken my partners trust for God knows how many times now. I'm honest and tell her but the damage is done and yet again things need to be paid and sorted so being honest is the start but I know I've got such along way to go. But did I think off that when I decided to gamble no, no, no each time gets harder my friend so put lots of barriers in place and don't gamble again as each time you lie a little bit off that trust will never come back

It’s a tough situation, I did the same recently my partner found out by chance but I’ve told immediate family.
I think it’s the betrayal or some dirty secret they think you’ve had from the partner’s perspective well in essence it consumes you and you lose days of your life in the vicious cycle.

i really hope everything works out.

I hope it all works out for you my friend and you can turn things around and live a good quality of life being gamble free for let's face it no good ever comes from this evil addiction and the amount off money you can lose in such a short period off time is dangerous. I wouldn't wish this on anybody and to get out off it's grips is so so hard ,take control and stop
