Since discovering this forum last week to say it's changed my life would be an understatement. I first posted on Monday telling my story. Felt strange telling people about me. But since then I have been logging on everyday and reading all these amazing stories. Everybody is so brave to admit to being cg and it's brilliant to see lives being turned around. I'm a teacher and even this week my work has been so much more productive and felt more motivated because of you guys and this site. Just wish I'd discovered it sooner. Was cg for 3 years and it completely ruined my life. Now 7 weeks gamble free and feel like a different person. I feel free. I still see a counsellor and she has noticed a huge change in me. Keep going all of you. The life you want is right in front of you.

thanks for them words , im in a right big black hole at present , i like to think im intelligent and friendly nice person but have no control over this mind destruction and not really tried recovery but recovery is what inned to improve my life greatly
i need to respect this illness and the power it holds

Good to hear Dommy. How did you go about gaining counselling?
Hi guys, I wasn't sure about the counselling at first. Was so nervous telling a Stranger (telling anyone) about my problem. But when I walked out after the first session I could see a little more clearly, like I could actually think straight for once, been every week since and now on my 7th session, I look forward to getting things out and it's helped me tell family and friends. I use break even who I think are from this site. It's free aswell and you get 12 sessions. I'd strongly suggest giving it a go and see if it works for you like it did me. Keep going guys, you're on the right path
