Hi Chris,

I myself feel exactly the same way. I am about 16k in debt through gambling and have a decent job, good family etc 

I understand that the feeling of losing control and the concept of money. It is draining and hope there is light at the end of the tunnel as I’m sure you do too. 

I feel embarrassed to talk about my situation as feel that not many people can relate to our situation and would say ‘just stop’ and we know this is easier said than done.

I myself have also used other peoples accounts so totally get your point. 

I hope we can both share our thoughts, have a chat as this may give us both the will power to want to do better as I have also explored avenues such as self exclusion etc

I can relate to you very much. I have a issue with online slots and am seeking support from other gamblers too. 

I have read a lot about gambling addiction and how it affects us, the main thing that keeps coming up is that however long we think about the money lost we will never get better. We need to forget about the amount we have lost and try and move forward.

You have already put the first steps in place by reaching out, I feel the same , embarrassed to talk about it and feeling ashamed of myself but it’s only money at the end of the day. Our happiness needs to come first.

I am also 2 days into my recovery and would love to keep in touch with a few people to support each other.
