Hello everyone

Hi guys and girls,

I decided to start my recovery on Saturday and I've came across this forum and its a great idea so thumbs up to whoever has made it and for those who visit the forum regularly,

I have used online gambling the past 5-6 months but in that time I got hooked quite rapidly I have gambled around 4000 pounds in the time and if you seen the wages I'm on you'd see that it's quite a colossal sum of money,

On Friday I gambled around 500 pounds in one sitting ive been gambling at night quite a bit and this has had an effect on my health and also my general social life,

I admitted everything to my mother and girlfriend expecting both to disown me but quite the opposite, after their shock at the beginning they both have went out of their way to support me through this battle and are going to help me in anyway possible just as long as I promise not to gamble, I have promised this and I'm sure that I won't but I just need to put my mind to it and do everything in my power not to, I have put my faith in God and I'm giving myself lots of things to be busy with and also working to fix the relationships I have broken with numerous people, I am attending my first GA meeting Wednesday night and I'm totally commited to recovering I will report my thoughts here every day and enjoy counting the days I'm gamble free so for now hello everyone
