Hi there gents/ladies ,Â
Â
Been here on and off since 2014 with couple prev accounts. Story similar to many ups and downs. Wins and losses. Keeping off it for years sometimes, then relapse. Hope ppl on here can support me and ill do likewise and read as many posts as can.But here again and determined. Feels different this time, had enough of the merrygoround never enough loss or win. Win it goes back in lose then chase= insanity.
Have a young daughter and wife that still supporting me. No debt thankfully but stole out of joint savings. Sure debt and prison and homeless all wait for me , if dont make it count this time. 2nd day no bet or in my case trade shares to make quick money, which what have been doing. Obviously just another form, of many ways /types of gambling out there.

Take care

Â

Your correct totally it affects families also lisa. But if was as easy as simply stopping none of us would be here , its a illness.
Hello @lastchance12072021 and @chris100 , I have read both your posts and i am sorry you are both going through this painful part of your journeys right now. I can relate and have been there, this addiction is not forgiving and will take you down to rock bottom and again find yourself at another lower rock bottom.
I would advise using the chat services and numbers and well as attending any meeting on this website to be able to open up to like minded people with similar experience and hear out there stories and potential knowledge to hopefully help both of you on your journeys.
if your finding the website is not helping as much I would try a physical meeting at Gamblers anonymous which run up and down the country and I hope one is near you which you can go too, I found them very helpful and the literature also to make me a better person as well as gamble free and work though my problems each step at a time and take each day at a time.
I hope this post is of help to you both, I know it’s painful now but long term absences from gambling is possible if you continue on wanting to be gamble free and engage with either this community or even a new which the above mentioned.
just for today I will not gamble.
