Hey! Well done! I've just joined the forum and your's is the first post I've read. Congrats on the 8 days! Today is day one for m and I've I chosen to spend my usual gambling time on this forum! I will follow your posts knowing that I'm just one week behind you.

Day 9 , been in a low mood all day and spent most of it in bed . It's probably cause I have no money and I'm on day 6 of no smoking . Difficult day for me but I'm doing it . No wish to gamble as I cannot put myself through the misery and stress again . Have a good eve all x
Hi well done to you, I'm day 20 and it does get better, just have to stay busy if you have the craving. Stay strong and positive x x
Day 12 , still feeling positive . My daughter's graduation tomorrow and fortunately I bought her a pandora charm as a present before I gambled the rest of my wages away at the beginning of the month . This month has been difficult , no money till 31st but hey I needed this lesson ,no one to bail me out . Today I met a lady in her 70's who was an alcoholic and has given for the last 4 years . Never to late to break these habits , she has motivated me ! Xx
Day 13 graduation went well . If I have a thought about gambling I just come on here for inspiration to carry on . Xxx
Day 14 cannot believe it's been two weeks . Spending less time thinking about it . Still broke but it's teaching me a lesson . My son is coming home tonight for the weekend and I'm looking forward to spending some time with him , rather than me being in the bedroom gambling in secret , pretending I'm tired or reading my book . Anyone else used to do that ? X
