Im new here, as the fiancee of a gambler. I, like many here am struggling. I have been trying to help in anyway i can, but nothing seems to help and im starting to get desperate.

my question is, can a gambler be sectioned under the mental health act? It seems like thats the only thing that can shock him into stopping doing it.Â
