Hi again. Just an update on things I've been noticing since I have quit. I try to read posts on here everyday like I've said already. Something that troubles me though: sometimes people write about how they win, how much they have staked etc. I understand they are just telling their story, to which they have the right to, just like I did. However, when I read about these big wins, I feel very anxious, tight chested almost. I don't know why I'm feeling like this, is it temptation? Possibly. What I conclude is that I need to be careful what I read. Getting rid of gambling is a huge journey, and all of us are at different stages. Some still even in denial, some at the acceptance stage and some are close to exit and recovery. I think I'm at the acceptance stage, a pivotal point, therefore feel very vulnerable. Writing about it makes me feel better though, as I am aware of what is happening and won't make hasty decisions.

Close to 2 months gamble free. It feels good. I feel like I'm moving on. I hate the way tv and sport is soiled by the gambling industry. I'm very surprised that the FA allows it in football. I wish the laws on gambling would change, but it will always exist, nobody can help me as much as I can help myself.
