Today marks my 130th day gamble free but this isn’t about me, it is about the amazing people on here that have inspired me to continue this and to stop my addiction.Â
Many will know my story…..10 years of out of control gambling losing over 250k. A man with a good job, a single Dad to his daughter, being disciplined to save for holidays, yet like a flick of a switch turn into an addict.Â
Today I want to post about you guys, Weirdfish from day 1 has always supported me, despite everyone of you having struggles, you take the time to reply to me to keep me motivated and disciplined. Without the support I feel on my own. So thank you.Â
Reading your recent post and what you are battling is an inspiration to us all to keep fighting.Â

Awe thanks mate. I’m just happy that people are seeing the benefits of quitting and doing week in recovery.
We are all the same in here. Slightly different stories but all with one goal. To be on this journey with so many amazing people is humbling. Everyone you have mentioned, and many more on top have helped me so much. I only comment on others as it helps me. It’s part of my recovery. It’s great to be part of someone’s journey though. Seeing someone’s life change for the better.
Thanks again. Your story and words have kept me going more than you can imagine.
