I’m 23, trying to start up a decent life for myself with my partner after university.
I was lured in by a certain ‘no wager’ free spins offer around a year ago now, and there’s not been a week (rarely a day) since where any spare money I have doesn’t get stupidly risked on some moving pictures and flashing lights…
We’ve just moved into our first real place together and I can see it getting worse and worse with the higher demand for bills and rent, etc, now.
I’ve lost everything I could have had, and I’ve lost everything I shouldn’t have had (multiple credit cards and overdrafts).
Currently job hunting with no money or confidence because of this addiction.
Just excluded myself. I’ll probably hate myself for it when I’m looking for an escape later on, but I can see this destroying everything in my future and I can’t not try to fight back.

whatever situation we’re in, we are all in this together.
Trust me try and stop now you're young. I tried to stop at 25 and I'm now 31 and it's got progressively worse every year. Trying to stop now will be the best thing you ever do for you future. Good luckÂ
@elzy92 Thanks it helps a lot hearing from others, haven’t ever really spoken about it before.
Good luck to you too, I think by just coming here it proves our true intentions to change for the best
You are still young, you don't have to let gambling drag you down. Seek recovery solutions and stick with it. You can do it.

Hi there what I would try my best to do regarding the job situation is to not be too fussy about the type of work I realise you have a uni qualification but there are some high pay jobs in electrical labour and other trades labourers just on a future temporary basis till you get your real hob
Get about a third of the wage removed from account by debit agreement to a safe family member get every single block in place and socially this temp job will bring you out and mix better. Â
Affected by gambling?
