My name is Daniel and i am a complusive gambler, i am currently 23 years old and i have been gambling for as long as i can remember, after a few big wins on the roulette when i was around 18 thats when things started to get out of control, when i was 19 i got caught steeling from my job and just avoided prison. it was a scary time but i managed to get threw it with the help of loved one's, i was attending G.A regually but a few days after my year of been clean i was back gambling and back in debt... basically this has been going on since then clean for good few months then once start getting some normality back in my life back gambling, back in debt and hurting loved ones once more. My family has bailed me out of debt i couldn't manage and i have caused hurt once again... i have been gamble free since december 28th and this time i really am going to stop for good, i am going to take things one day at a time, pay my parents back and the most important thing stop causing hurt and get myself sorted.

Good luck in your recovery, as youve said one day at a time. When you get the urge just stop and think is it really worth it? all the lies, the stress. Come on here read, post, maybe start a diary (if you havent already). It'll all help. Stay strong and determind, you already know you can beat it just beat it for good, one day at a time and good luck.
