Hi Pure Justice

Your not alone, gambling is the hardest thing in the world to fight I'd argue that with anyone.

We are here for you 🙂

Lots of love and support

good week to you both

try not to dwell on it pure justice , what was your poison online gambling and casino?

i re lapsed at weekend too , only small stakes but still constant online gambling and a little go FOBT , either though i knew the

money would erode away i still wanted to and did it privatley , unfortunatly as compulsive gamblers its in our dna and i wish there was a pill or medicine you can take to cure it , as you do feel sick and so angry when you lose conrtol and lose money so well spent anywhere else , don,t panic , whatever you do don,t chase it there are plenty of ppl on here hit rock bottom and gone into sucessful recovery and if re lapse start again and again , break the triangle you need money , time and location to gamble no funds no gambling

be brave we all in same boat

Hi Pure Justice,

We do walk a tightrope to a certain extent. Try not to be too hard on yourself. Make sure you put the strongest measures in place to prevent future gambling. Even if it means having your finances in the hands of a trusted family member for as long as it takes. Spraggy says no funds no gambling. It's good advice, keep any available money out of your reach. Then when you get the urge you can't do anything about it. No mistake, it's difficult but it is possible to beat this addiction by taking the right steps.

Best Wishes.

Sorry to hear it. Pick yourself up, dust yourself down and start again. It might take a couple of attempts but each failure will lead you closer to a method that works for you.

Please, don't give up. There's more love and support on this board than we all realise!

Relapses can be beneficial - if we learn by our mistakes.
