Hey guys, my name is Ally and I have a gambling addiction.
I've been gambling for a year or two and have taken out multiple credit cards and a loan to fuel my habit.
I started gambling in live roulette rooms because I was lonely and at first it was fun and I wasn't putting much in but as you can probably guess it has just gone downhill from there. I got to the point where I wasn't thinking twice about putting £100 in my account and when I lost it I would put more in, convinced I could win. In the end I was following people who were telling me what football games to bet on and I got obsessed with trying to make more money. Today is day 1 of not gambling and I'm trying to look for a better future. I have a good job and I make enough money to be able to go out and on holiday etc but right now all that money is going towards my debt.
Sorry for the disordered post. I have alot of thoughts and guilt about everything that I am having problems coming to terms with but I know that I have to fix my inner demons and mental health issues if I want to stay clean of gambling.
