hi all
ive been back gambaling again for around 4 months after going threw conselling before and being 14 months bet free. Before i had all the help and support of my partner and family however this time many have washed there hands with me and rightly so. Before i had racked up around 15,000 of debt funding my habit have managed to get that down to around 8000. Since my relapse ive managed to rack up another 2000 of debt.
I need to beat this now ive lost my partner and if i carry on i will loose my kid. My partner had told me if i gambaled i would loose her and i chose gamabaling over her. Ive dealt with a lot of issues in the past, bullima, bullying , a father who didnt want to no and i have come threw these but im starting to think there all interlinked.
Im starting to get help , for gamabling itself but for finally to talk about my other issues that i have had through out my life.

You have had quite a journey with recovery already and you sound frustrated and low about having relapsed. You have lost a lot, but you also know that there is much to gain.
Though people around you find it difficult to remain on that journey with you at present, you have developed an understanding of yourself and of what issues in your life may need addressing in order for you to keep moving forward. You have managed to stop for 14 months, nolpet, that is a very good stretch of time and it really shows that you can do this.
When you recover from a gambling problem, you get to know yourself and by getting to know yourself you gain control and see more clearly that you have choices in life. You become stronger as a person and you can use the strength you gain in order to make good choices, good for yourself and in extension beneficial for others, too.
You have ended your post on a great note. You can do this!
