You’re not alone

Obviously everyone is different and gambling has affected us all in different ways. But we all have one thing in common . We are addicts. And no matter what anyone says or thinks it is absolutely as real and for most of us more real than other addictions. But I will say this. Gamcare started as a way for me to feel better about myself, by seeing others go through what i did or worse in cases. And sadly before I joined up i genuinely thought I was the only person on earth that gambling had become a serious problem.!!that was of course naive of me. 

But, without going into the disturbing details. A member of this team after live chatting with me asked to speak on the phone. 2 hours he talked to me. Without knowing it he saved my life. Anytime I feel low or relapse. I come her. I will never go back to that dark place. And I would encourage anyone who feels s**t, to contact them. Youd be surprised how good it feels saying how you feel to stranger who doesnt judge you. Good luck everyone and keep fighting!
