My post was only meant to send out positive vibes and try and show a more beneficial way of looking at things

Maybe this is the exact reason why people are reluctant to reply to posts because all they are trying to do is be positive and help and it just gets thrown back in their face and told it is unhelpful...just a thought!!

Checking in for this week. Been to a couple of meetings this week. Strengthened my acceptance that I really do have a problem with gambling. Its not easy to accept that gambling can wreck lives but it does.

Checking in for the week. Tri x

Hi, i would like to join the 2016 challenge, with the help of the 2015 challenge i have managed to rack up 304 days gamble free and by the end of this year my aim is to be debt free. The hardest part for me is letting go of the money i have lost and there is still a part of me that wants to win it back..... anyway checking in on day 304

Welcome Chartom3, consider yourself added.

I am sorry to read that some are unhappy with this thread...it's difficult to constantly monitor and provide responses but will continue to do my best.

Hope everyone continues to keep their urges at bay - there is no set template to this, everyone needs to find a way that work best for them.

Checking in 357 Days.

I've read your post No problem. Seven days is an achievement. Be proud of that. Keep going with your plan and keep checking in. You can beat the addiction and the non gambling days soon add up.

Best Wishes to All on the Challenge.

Checking in on day 167.

Hope everyone has had a good week back at work after Xmas. I know stress from work has made me escape into gambling in the past so hopefully everyone's still nice and relaxed. If anyone is stressed out remember gambling will not solve your problems and will only make your situation worse. Staying focused and achieving our goals will bring us long term peace and fulfillment. I know how easy it is to over complicate and over think our lives, but try to keep things simple. We all know the what right things are to do, now its time to execute our plans.

Stay safe 🙂
