I have to say I agree with Deano.
You shouldn't gamble or watch others gamble even if you are not putting money on.
From what I understand you have to retrain your brain. Therefore you must try to not expose it to watching any form of gambling.
Only when it gets a rest from seeing (in my case) the reels spinning round will it start to block out the gambling thoughts and replace them with different ideas.
Saying that, I think we can safely say a lot of recovering gamblers have been there, myself included but I now realise that it only worked for me for a while short term - needless to say I need it to be long term. Therefore demo games are no longer in my life.
Thanks for your response Herford it was appreciated . I wish you and all fellow gamcarers good health, happiness and peace of mind for 2017. x

I gambled and lost a bit of cash, won't go in to amounts but anyway, it's a mistake that I fully accept and I'll just rack up the days as I did last year. The positive thing is I spent most of last year not gambling, and the amount I recently lost is nothing compared to what I would have lost over a year period, so it's not all doom and gloom.

Hi All

Sorry late to be joining this threat but would like to take up the 2017 challenge. I am a comlusive gambler and my last bet was on the 20th of December 2016. I have been struggling with gambling now for 10 years, mainly casino's and online, but I would bet on anything. Back on this forum and am looking forward to sharing my recovery with everyone one day at a time

C
