That's fantastic - thanks Jon.

Just so you know, last year I started a new Topic with a new title, asked Admin to make it a "sticky" (so it appears at top of section) and asked them to close the 2018 thread.

Hopefully more people will check in this year - some long term posters just disappeared. Triangle, Geordie, Chartom3 (and others) - hope you are all ok guys.

Anyway.

The holiday period was always a heavy gambling (horses) period for me in the past. Didn't give it a thought this year. A combination of going away for a couple of days, Xmas at our house for the family and daughter having a NYE party meant I was more than fully occupied. Although in fairness that wouldn't have stopped me in the past.

That's perfectly fine.

Everyone's own personal recovery should come first. That's all that matters really.

I know exactly what you mean about reading threads causing negative emotions.

I'll do occasional updates for a while.

Sincerely hope you will keep checking in during 2020 as long as it doesn't interfere with your own recovery.
