Checking in for the week gf 🙂
Checking in 1st time this year day 505, last time checked in was just over a month ago. Think I’m at a stage now where il still check in but every now and again instead of every week. What I will say to people just starting off in their recovery is for me apart from support from loved ones this forum has been the biggest help to me and if you stick at it, it does get easier. Still get the odd time where il have a flash back of a decent win but with stuff like checking in and the forum itself you are better in the head to sharp forget it and that feeling goes away. All the best people

A big shout to Chartom3 who has hit the 400 days and Sarah16 who has hit 100 (loved her celebrating by taking her son swimming, was a bit dusty when I read that). Well done to all, particulalrly those in the early stages. It never gets easy, but does get a little easier. Just do it one day at a time. Hopefully see you all next week. Apologies if I have missed anyone. I am happy to correct this evening if I have. |

Checking In Day 36
I have a week alone coming up and I'm planning some different kinds of activities and new things to focus on so as not to find myself bored , lonely , tired etc. I can do this. I want to. Just this past week a couple of people commented on my abilities and my intellect. Wow, it's been a while since I've been randomly esteemed by others. To me this says that I'm becoming more present and clear as time goes on. Stay strong , tara
