Excited to hear that this will be available by the end of the year. With so many new companies popping up online, it'll be good to give your details and be completely blocked from these sites. I hope that their service is worth it, and we can put in card details/PayPal as well, to completely stop us making further mistakes.

Been waiting for this kind of thing for a while. Over the moon it's finally going to be here. I'm sure the online casinos and bookies will try find a loophole no doubt.

Hi. This is day 1 for me.
Is Gamstop something that you register to that stops you joining gambling sites?

I have self excluded from numerous sites, but simply register on another site.
I have often wondered why there is not one place where you can register to be excluded from gambling sites and then gambling sites cannot accept anyone who is on that register.
If that is what Gamstop does it will really help me.
Or have I misunderstood the concept?

I have just googled it and it does seem to be the case that it is somewhere to register which blocks you from all online gambling sites.
I really hope this becomes available soon. In the meantime I will hope and pray that my self discipline and determination will keep me from joining any more gambling sites.
I want to start coming on here for support and inspiration and if anyone involved in running this site is reading this, I think it would be a very good idea to announce when Gamstop becomes available on this site.

That's excellent news. Not just for myself, but for everyone deciding to gethelp going forward. If it can stop some people in their tracks that first time they recognise a problem and decided to self exclude rather than the 100th it's going to help prevent so much pain and misery.

This sounds fantastic and I wish it had been around over the last 10 years. I really hope it's as good as it sounds and helps people who have the same issues as myself. I'll certainly be waiting for this to go live.

Any signs of this scheme starting? Spring is 3 months long, have they not released a more specific starting date yet?

*whilst making this comment, I accidently clicked "alert moderator" and cannot seem to unclick it. But as I say, it was an accident, so there is no issue.
