Two things about me: I'm from the other side of the fence ie the wife of a CG and I'm a generation older than you.
My father used to say that there's no such thing as a free lunch; someone always has to pay. This may be the sort of thing that an old bat would tell you but it really is true. A "free" offer is a promotion, initially paid for by the offerer but designed to reel you in so that you can pay instead. The bookies were never going to give you £100k! And if you never had to work, what sort of person would you become? A bored one? A spoilt one?
You actually deposited £10 and that is what you lost. This time, don't know how many other £10s there have been. To me, as a non CG, it's obvious that you lost £10 and the idea that you lost £100k doesn't make sense, I really don't understand your thinking. To you as a gambler, your thinking is distorted and that is why you have a problem, also that you couldn't stop and you want to chase your losses.
You have your life ahead of you, please get help now, counselling, before you get sucked in any further. My husband's losses really were telephone numbers, it was family money, including the children's money and it's coloured everything. Don't go there.
