Hi Mate. Why don't you tell us a little more about your addiction? Is it online mainly or do you visit the local bookies/casino?

You'll find a lot of help here. Check out the recovery diaries section and you'll see a lot of people in the same position as yourself. The good thing is you're still young and you've got your whole life ahead of you. There's plenty of time to turn this thing around. If you've got any financial problems, they can be sorted out in time.

Keep your chin up and take one day at a time. This could be the start of a new journey for you, free from gambling.

Hi MehGameOver

Welcome to the Forum.

I am glad that you have decided to join this Forum and post here and I hope that you will find much support on this Forum in your quest to overcome your problem and move forward from the difficulties you experience.

You might find it useful to speak with an advisor directly and in confidence. You can do so either on the Netline, which is an online chat

http://secure.gamcare.org.uk/netline/

or on our freephone Helpline 0808 8020133

Both services are open from 8am to midnight every day.

We hope to hear from you, soon.

Best wishes

Rachel
