Yep it is that time of year again.

Our mind starts to tells us a few extra quid for presents and for over the Christmas period would be good, and then before you know it all the December wages are gone and not a present bought.

We all know the cleverly manufactured gambling ads are about to ramp up again.

Dont be like the old me and fall for it.

Have a good non gambling festive period and don`t wait till the new year to stop, make it your present to yourself if you are still gambling to claim your life back.

Good Luck all over this trying time.

Im still going strong its so hard but i have still not had a bet. Money normally burns a hole in my pocket and doesnt last long. In just 2 weeks i have managed to save 200 pounds its not a lot but its a start.

Its easy to think lets try and make 200 into 400 but i know that it would end in tears and this is what is keeping me going. The last relapse is still raw and making me more determined

It is certainly a tricky time of year, I have made this mistake before more than once around Christmas time, so am going to do all I can to avoid the same mistakes and remind myself of all the pain and stress it’s caused before when I’ve let my guard down
