You know that some people say things without really considering how it could be taken by others.

'Don't have to be a hero'. - It's not really what you wanted to hear coz it implies that you're doing stuff for personal gain or recognition, which just isn't the case! You are playing a major role in this - not coz you have to - but coz you're the best man for the job. And ultimately because it helps you personally to stay on the right course to happiness and freedom.

Thank you, Changemylife, for your kind comments. You're right - this isn't an ego trip for me, it's about living a better life. And if other good people, like your good self, want to live a better life, and we can all help each other, all the better!

There's no personal gain, or recognition: this is all anonymous and I'm sure none of us would have it any other way! I think it's refreshing, and invigorates us all the more, being this way.

Let's all have a Christmas to remember this year. We don't have to gamble, you know. Look at it this way. We don't have to gamble; we know it's not fun losing and being, sadly, pathetic (hey, I've been there.)

Payday for many of us, soon. Let's keep strong. Otherwise, believe me, from an old-ish codger of 48, it really isnt worth it!

Let's keep GF everyone! One day at a time OR forever; because we are gambling free from the moment we stop. We just need, daily, to remember and respect that. And not to put on that killer, bad first bet.

Waking up with cash in our pockets or purses. Bliss. The smiles from those who care about us. Even better.

We're at the time of the month where we sometimes (sadly) take "collateral" here on the Challenge; and we get a relapse or two. The reason? A combination of payday, and poor strategy. This is the time for us all to be strong. Payday is just another day, no more, no less. Let's not have another "man down" (or, indeed, "lady down"!)

Resist throwing your hard-earned money down the toilet. It's too hard earned !!!!!!
