Okay I've been on here for only a month or so but haven't really stopped gambling, my parents got me a loan (they're amazing) to pay of

My debts of 7,500.. Managed to get on the straight for about a week or two.. Got paid early (usually give my mum my wages now) but I had 2 days to play.. Quickly deposited 2000 pound, BUT.. Won about 4,500.. Withdrew it to, was quite happy with that, but then it got me emmersed, luckily the 4,500 isn't incmy sccount till tomorrow however I've still tacked up about 5,000 in debts again, this really is my last chance, if I mess this up then my mum and dad will lose their house, how can I stop being such a s*** son šŸ™ applogies for the language also, please help me

Make it count.

Perhaps an insight to what your vice is would be good. If it is online, then consider deactivating your accounts. If you call them and explain your problem then they legally have to oblige.

You can also download a program called K9. This is free but requires someone else to put in a password for you(otherwise its pointless) perhaps your parents as it shows your intent to stop.

This will block all gambling sites.

You can also join the 2014 challenge in this section of the website. It is full of enthusiastic people who share the same problem that help and encourage everyone else in the group, but more importantly listen to you.

You could also start a recovery diary and update it regulary.

Well done for taking positive steps by posting, perhaps being honest about your recent relapse to your parents would also be a good idea for peace of mind.

Hope this helps and best wishes,

Scambling
