Think I've finally realised that all the encouragement and positivity in the world can't help with this illness. You the person looking at this post right now are the only person in the world who can change this! And I honestly envy u . Almost 2 months slot free until tonight. Funny thing is tonight i lost hardly any thing (£50). in the past its only ever been thousands that have brought me to gamcare..but for some reason this cuts the deepest ? Probably because deep down I know it's just setting the wheels back in motion on a ride I really need to get the funk off.
Hey,
Sorry to hear what's happened. You know where I can see the problem in the post 'i lost hardly anything, it's only ВЈ50' this right here isn't the mentality you want. Whether you lose ВЈ1 or ВЈ1000 losing is losing and feeding the wrong pockets. Starting with only £50 can lead into many many more catastrophic result, you've done 2 months slot free. why not maybe just self exclude off the website forget about tonight and start again from day 1?
Regards
Michael
All for nothing . It always ends up back in a vicious cycle. I'm done f**k this s**t game over for me

Have you considered calling Gamcare just for someone to speak to and vent out your frustration and anger and ask them for professional help? Or even calling the good Samaritans for someone to speak to.
You don't have to give up over £50 buddy, take it away and remove yourself from the site and block yourself to try and prevent you playing.
I understand it's hard mate but you need the willpower to stop and somewhere deep down its there trust me
It's a combination of everything you will need to stop: willpower, help from others, practical things like not having access to a lot of money. Having said that, nothing works if you don't really want to stop - as I know too well.
Hi just been reading your page , I too went through a great period of gamble free but relapsed today! £10 down like u say it's nothing but it's more than £0 ! We need to just get our heads down and start a fresh , I hope you can get motivated and get going again it's a very lonely place sometimes but this site is brilliant with some really helpful people
Affected by gambling?
