Hello,

I'm starting a challenge! Feel free to join me. If I manage to do the month 'clean' I'll create a recover diary starting from 30 days!

So I'm going to try and last the whole month without gambling, my last bet was the 31st of October. I'll come back everyday to say that I've completed the day and the challenges that I face. I hope more people join me and leave support for one another.

Day 1 - I got a text today from a casino site I used to use, 200% bonus! No thank you!! Stay strong!

Forgot to keep posted!! Hope everyone is doing well. Getting to that time of year now.. Day 5 now, almost 1 week into the new month. Keep getting promotional emails and texts from gambling sites, slowly blocking them all 1 by 1!

Getting signed up to Gamstop should stop a lot of those emails. Any extra help you can give yourself to stop take it. Get strong blocks in place and muddle through the early days. I didn't feel like i was getting anywhere for a long time but just by not gambling i was moving forwards, never forget that. Its a shock to the system when we stop. It is a mad existance recklessly gambling all the time but its the world and life we have lived in for so long. Once we stop we feel weak, embrassed and vunrable. Its easy to run back to what we have known but we can stop if we accept where we are and what we must do to break free.

All the best guys.

Hello all,

Glad to hear everyone's doing well and hope all are okay! If we fall we need to get straight back up and go again. But if no action after this fall, we are likely to fall again. What have you guys done differently? Sign up to gamstop, block yourself? I need some advice with my phone. I'm signed up to gamstop and have a blocker on my computer, I dont go into physical shops. My phone is the only issue now. I can't get the blocker because it dosn't work with Vodaphone... Any ideas? Stay strong everyone.
