Hi all thought I would part with some good advice for anyone who owes less than £15,000. As long as you have few assets, you can apply for a Debt Relief Order. Go to Gov.uk for the full details, there is a £90 fee for the order, but its well worth it as it writes off your debts. Let me know if you are looking into this hope it all goes well

Indeed what you are describing could reasonably be called "amnesty" . Often this tradeoff

  • loss: your credit rating
  • gain: amnesty

means you lose something useless and you gain your life.
