Hi everyone,

Welcome to the Forum’s new topic!

This week’s topic is “recognising progress”.

When we are going through changes in our lives, focusing on our goals and who we want to be in the future is important to for motivation to keep going. However, it is also important that we “look back” and recognise all the progress we have made so far. For example, coming onto our GamCare forum to look for some support is a courageous step to take, and we recognise reaching out for support as progress.

It can be easy for us to forget to reflect on how far we’ve already come on our journey, so it can be helpful to set aside some time now and then to “look-back” and appreciate the steps we’ve taken and our efforts.

So, what are your thoughts?

How could you make sure you recognise your progress?

What progress have you made so far?

Is there anything you have learnt about yourself when you think of the progress you have made?

We would love to hear your reflections below!

All the best,

Lulu
