Do you consider yourself to have past or current gambling problems?
A postgraduate research project of Bath Spa University is requesting participation from people who consider themselves problem gamblers. The researcher is Brian Dennis, who is a BACP accredited counsellor practising in Exeter and a student on the MA course in Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice at Bath Spa University.
Participants will be requested to be interviewed about their saving habits and money management, both past and present. The interviews will be face-to-face, if the participants are in the Exeter Devon area, or via Skype internet program if that is more practical. The interviews will be of approximately one hour duration.
Participation in the research is confidential and voluntary. The identity and locality of the participants will be maintained as strictly confidential.
The results of the interviews will form the basis of a postgraduate research project which will add to the knowledge base of problem gambling. An aim of the research is to provide greater understandings of the monetary emotional beliefs and habits of some people who have tendencies towards problem gambling.
If you are interested in assisting this research, please email: [email protected] or telephone 07757 233386.
Just a quick reminder that this research project is still open and actively seeking respondents - if you're interested drop Brian Dennis an email or call him - contact details in the post above.
Best wishes
