Hi all....when I was at my lowest ebb I googled....help I can't stop gambling. Gamcare was the first thing that came up ,since then Gamcare has been a constant in my recovery . We will never all agree on everything nor should we as that is being human... But....last 2weeks or so there has been a toxic undercurrent on this forum....it's sad we are all here for the same reason . Who will join me in saying...let's all reset and put a stop to it now and appreciate the help, support and caring from each other

Excellent idea Charlieboy.

I am with you 100%.

It does not mean I will forget the events of last night but I can easily avoid anyone I find disturbing.

A gamcare friend of mine seemed to be extremely distressed by things that were directed at her last night and that is certainly not what we signed up for.

We are here for own recovery but should be careful not to write anything that could have an adverse effect on another person's recovery.

No one knows what another person has been through or the trauma they have experienced and has no right whatsoever to pass judgement on another.

Best wishes and respect from Stephen x

Completely agree Charlieboy, we are all here for the same reason and are in no position to cast judgement on anyone and how they go about their recovery. We all deal with it in our own way picking up snippets from other peoples stories which can help us along the way.

Live and let live and lets keep helping each other to a long term recovery
