This song always plays a huge part in stopping me from gambling, or ensure I don't chase losses. It makes me so emotional and Intentional about quitting for good. My interpretation of the song is totally on demons of gambling and how after chasing all the high we always go back to "whatever could it be, that has brought me to this loss?".
I find the part where Bon Iver said "everything that happens is from now on" so powerful. I have to let go of the past, I have to let go of the losses and decide a better life for myself and loved ones starting now while getting every help I can.
