I am finally on the road to recovery where I never thought possible that I would be able to give this up. Gambling as tore my life apart and I have blown savings and every single weekly wage I received and I have got myself into debt also. I am 19 year old hard worker and thought it was fun but it is not and no matter what there is a extent of getting carried away is always there. I tried so many times to stop and upset my partner so many times and that's what hurt me the most I decided enough was enough and I had to stop and through help on the forums on here and my girlfriends help I have now stopped gambling and have no urge to gamble again. Slowly my bank balance is building up again and my debts are starting to be paid off I believe this is one good recovery step and I believe I have took a step in a great direction after having to kick this habit and I believe that is the end of it and I will never go back.

Great to see you in a more positive frame of mind than the last time you posted. It would be great if you can keep your resolve and carry on like this! Have you taken any measures to ensure that you can't gamble again? Like self excluding, or if you gamble online, getting the sites blcked by your internet provider or through blocking software?
