so long story short
I’ve been caught and opened up about addiction. I have started GA and all the necessary steps to get better
my (ex)partner is decayed and has moved out. She is destroyed by the lies and deceit that I have said removed link Quite rightly she is angry.
my question is. Has any one else been in the situation where even though they love that person they have hurt, they think it is better to separate so they don’t get hurt anymore or have to deal with the stresses. I love my partner so so much but I don’t want to put her through anymore of this BS. What have you all done in this situation. 80% of me is saying that I should let her go so she shouldn’t have to deal with it anymore?? Thoughts ???
Have they moved out due to debts and financial mess. Most people bail due to be scared or just cant cope with the situation. The fact is everyone with addiction lies to cover it up. If its the financial aspect of it then they may have just freaked out. Start working on you and your plan then explain what you are doing to sort yourself out. If you love each other theres no reason why you cant work through this together
