Just seen a VERY disturbing new advert from a well known bingo site who are attempting to lure in new members by teaming up with a cancer charity suggesting it would be a marvelous idea to get into gambling as you would ultimately be doing a good thing as some of the cash you lose would go to them... no stats given or anything... they could give them 1p in every pound for all we know. So lose 500quid with them and 5 quid goes to the cancer charity.

its shocking that the charity wants to be associated with such practices...

Absouletely unbelievable all around!!

I saw an advert like that the other day and was surprised to see the logo of a charity on it. Can't remember which gambling company it was and exactly where I saw the ad. It did make me raise my eyebrows a bit though at the time. Just doesn't seem to sit well together somehow.

Even the advert for amigo loans disturbs me. He asks his mam to be his guarantor. "of course I will son. As long as you take me to the bingo every week!" w*f? Oh that's ok then. Lots of people need a guarantor due to bad credit caused by gambling and they advertise to get a fellow gambler to guarantor further finance!. I don't think theyv been to bingo lately. Its not full of old people playing for free! It's darn expensive. Is full of slot machines, it often has casino games too. And it was a bingo hall where my addiction originally began. Are these people for real??!! X

Ive not seen that advert.... what I have just seen is an advert for quik quid... waitress at work, boss comes over saying he cant offer her the extra hours he had promised... she gets in a panic as she was relying on the money to get her by... whoooo so the answer to her problems is apparently quik quid.... surely thats irresponsible lending?? Surely even the gambling industry wouldnt get away with a similar commercial? Saying that you never know nowadays...
