This was the main reason why I felt I should open up about it on my diary so people (including yourself) would understand better. I felt much better after posting it in my diary so that's good! Something Blondie said "if you're feeling down and sad, you may benefit from your diary more - this seems to be very true.

WEEK 6. DAY 40. "It's another day, it's another "NO" (to GAMBLING)

and the connection is..... I will be gamble free for 40 days and 40 nights by midnight tonight!! Now that sounds really good. Feb is a happy little animal again!!

The sun was shaded for a brief moment on "The Bright Side of the Road" but the sunglasses are back in action, ready to take that walk in the sunshine!!

Just read back some of your entries-I had a similar experience many years ago (didnt get to court tho). I empathise with what you're going through-needless to say 'what doesnt kill you makes you stronger'(eventually!!!)

Dear Feb,

Thank you so much for sticking around because your support to others means so much (to me especially). I am horrified to hear what happened to you but you seem such a strong woman so I am sure you'll be ok and hopefully the perpertrator will get everything they deserve. I'm sure it is a very stressful time at the moment and will be until the court case is over but believe you me we all want to support you...

Congratulations on 40days - I'm still behind you but I'll make my 28day target at midnight tonight. I survived payday and am looking forward to March.

So very glad to see your still here and using your diary , I imagine that when i type on my diary once i hit send its floating away in the cosmos somewhere and I am letting go.

So sorry to hear about what happened to you it must have been and sill be a very traumatic thing for you but i just wanted to say this, I think you are extremly brave and couragous for a number of things, for going to court and seeing it through to the end why sould this person be allowed to get away with it, Your doing the right thing. For posting in on your diary that must of took some guts but its floating around now and you certainly wont be judged here, and for giving the commiment you have to remaining gamble free whilst going through what you are.

Be proud FEB, be very proud.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. Sometimes I just need awhile for things to calm down in my mind after therapy. I know it's best to talk through these issues and try to understand my behavior. Somedays are tougher then others I guess. Thanks for the support, and kind thoughts. I did not gamble today, and that's a good day.

WEEK 6. DAY 41 - "It's another day, it's another "NO" (to GAMBLING)

Just spent that last hour and a half chatting to someone in relation to a t.v programme that is being aired in April on gambling. Had a very interesting "chat" and covered lots of areas to do with gambling. They are going to be keeping in touch with me for "further questioning" ha! On a serious level, I do not mind as it is time for problems such as ours, be put across on t.v I think and call into question maybe, the amount of adverts etc there are and how frequent they are and the impact these can often have on gamblers.

Anyway, I am off soon to my lovely sisters for the weekend. We are both going to be doing lots of babysitting - can't wait!!

Just a little note: Had an email from an online betting site about midnight. Quickly read through it - them offering me a bonus and informing that I would have to bet 30 times more than my bonus. My reaction:" NO THANKS"!! DELETE!! Simple As.
