WEEK 17. DAY 116. "It's another day, it's another "NO" (to GAMBLING).

Getting back into the swing of things in work gradually now and enjoying being with all my friends and colleagues again, amongst all the maddness!!

Nothing much to report, other than all is as well as can be. Feeling full of gratitude for one reason or another and happy to say, no gambling, no urges, no desire to or no thoughts - HAPPY DAYS!!

WEEK 17. DAY 118. "It's another day, it's another "NO" (to GAMBLING")

Very, very hung over today peops! Went to see Leona Lewis last night at Echo Arena with my friend, ( pressie from my son). We had a great time then stayed out until 'stupid oclock'!! Both of us are now very much suffering the consequences physically but was well worth it - just what the doctor ordered - for both of us!!

Hard task for today is now to get myself into work for 1.30pm - Feb can do this, she is a tough cookie!!

WEEK 18. DAY 120 "It's another day, it's another "NO" (to GAMBLING).

18TH JANUARY..... 4 months ago today..... I experienced the worst feelings of my life so far - anxiety, stress, shame, remorse, guilt and that gut wrenching, churning of the stomach. That's what almost three years of gambling resulted in, reaching the crescendo on that very day.

Fast forward 4 months ........ No more of those feelings. I am glad to say, that was a part of my life, a phase of my life so to speak that I went through - bought the t-shirt, worn the t-shirt, ruined the t-shirt and finally GOT RID OF IT!! Been there, done that - all that jazz.

Today, I am grateful for what I have and who I am surrounded by - wonderful, caring family and friends and most of all - THE RETURN OF MY SELF RESPECT AND SELF CONTROL. Happy, happy, happy.

Well well.... Another very, very lazy day for me I am ashamed to say. Have done nothing more than trudge through music videos on YouTube and "this and that" on my lap top. All very time consuming but really enjoyable to be honest!! Oh and just purchased my new lawn mower!! Let the work begin....... hmmmmm.

Hope everyone is enjoying Sunday as much as I am.
