Well done Feb5 month barrier smashed ... Now onto 6 months and then beyond,
Like you I see my gambling as something that happened and now I no longer need it or have a use for it, shame it took me many failed attempts and over 10 years
Keep up great work

Feb - Life is getting better and better on "The Bright Side of the Road".
Lady Feb
I think it was you on the chat this evening who mentioned that you had read my diary in the 'New members' Forum. I'll admit that I recognised your name as one of the diaries I had dipped into and have just re-read most of it. I'll be very pleased if I get to 150 days as by then I should have replaced a chunk of the money lost over the past 12 months and just as importantly, but probaly more inportantly, be in a better 'place' emotionally.
As well as helping many other peple by posting on their diaries your entries show the determination shown in looking to stop gambling. All of us have own own problems in life and you have demonstrated how to keep these at bay by working towards goals and by having good support networks.
I hope that I am able to achieve what you have over the next 5 months. Fingers crossed.
Chris
Thanks Chris and with determination, you will!!
Lady Feb.

WEEK 22. DAY 152 (free from GAMBLING).
Well, payday has come round again, so what about my mini goals??
1. To continue to pay all bills. (TICK)
2. To continue to budget wisely.( TICK)
3. To sort my new glasses out (Kept the old ones)
4. To take "time out" to just chill and relax. (TICK)
5. To support other diaries as much as I can.(TICK).
Decided against the glasses and make do with the ones I have got which are nice anyway and at least I can afford my daily contacts again now!
My little treat for my 150 days was to actually buy my lovely niece a really cute Ted Baker baby outfit for her baby boy being born in September. Me and my sister are going to stay over tomorrow. Can't wait. I also bought myself some nice Cath Kidston pumps in the sale - great purchase.
How nice it was today to get off early for a change and roam around the shops and even buy things!! It's nothing like I used to be able to but still it is good progress.
Had another really busy week and another one to follow next week. Not going to let that spoil my weekend though.
Hope everyone has a good and gamble free weekend.
Lady Feb - Sailing along on "The Bright Side of the Road".
WEEK 23. DAY 153. It's another week's "NO" (to GAMBLING).
For some reason, woke up at 1.30am and cannot get back to sleep??!! Thought I would write on my diary now as its the start of a new gamble free week for me and I won't get chance later I don't think.
Nice weekend ahead - hope I can get back off to sleep as I am up early - plenty to do before setting off to my nieces for the weekend.
Take care everyone.
Lady Feb - Feeling wide awake on "The Bright Side of the Road"!!!
