Hi Feb,

Love your wishlist of things that you want to get done, and without gambling I too am starting to realise that it is possible to buy things every now and again. Most of my money still going to clear debt as soon as possible, but being able to get a new game or a pair of trainers is a refreshing change (I know, I only wish I could think of more practical things to buy).

It's amazing the changes that quitting gambling can bring, and I hope you reap the rewards for a long time to come.

All the best

Ryan

MONTH 14 - WEEKLY UPDATE

Another gamble free pay day just gone. Life is definitely returning back to "normal" with every month I abstain. Almost paid all of my council tax arrears from last year now - that feels so good and the more I pay things like this off, the more normality I have back in my life.

Bought my lovely Mason Cash mixing bowl after being paid and treated myself to a lovely bag, I have had my eye on. I'm really pleased with it and it was in the sale!!

Driving to Rugby on Monday evening with a colleague for a 3 day training event. Should be good.

Will check my pay day mini goals and set some new ones up soon.

Take care all.

Feb - feeling pleased on "The Bright Side of the Road".

Feb,

Amazing to read how well you are doing. You deserve it all. You have worked very hard at your recovery and as each day, week and months passes you become stronger and happier.

Hey Feb, what Mason and Cash bowl did you buy? I used to sell them, love the ones with the hearts embossed on them. So glad your recovery is going well and life is returning to normal for you, keep going and keep treating yourself, you deserve it xxx

Awesome to see you doing so well, it's great to see and great motivation for others, lets everyone know it can be done. I know what you mean about paying off stuff when you've got your gambling head on its horrible having bills but once you get into recovery and start looking at your life like an adult not a scared child like us gamblers can become, paying back what we owe can be a real sense of achievement and a great self esteem rebuilder. I know it makes me feel good knowing I'm taking control back once more.

Sorry went on a bit of a ramble there lol. Take care and keep enjoying you new, better, gamble free life.
