May I be the first congratulate you on 20 days gambling free Debsy!  And what a journey it has been where you truly have dared to look at things afresh.  Had the open mind to challenge what you thought was the best way to deal with this, and then found a better way.  And done so in a way that brings out your true lovely, lively character which is lighting us all up!

Yes, you've had a stonking start and tomorrow you'll be "21" !  But one day at a time, it's a marathon, not a sprint, but you're running the race well 😉

22 days clean. It’s going really well. I’m so so pleased I put the blocks in place. If anyone is new and reading this I would highly recommend installing gamban and gamstop. Take away the risk and set yourself free

Yeah I agree Debsy. I'm watching telly on the BBC Player now (Ghosts, great to watch with my 8yr old boy who loves it, and has just gone to bed), and I know I cant switch to any gambling.  That's great to know and it's all down to the blocks. Here's to blocks and to you, tomorrow - when you will make a promise not to gamble, just for the day 🙂

Tomorrow, you reach your quarter-century; your silver jubilee Debsy!  25 days gambling free... that is something, and what makes it better is that you have had money to spend but you haven't spent it on fresh air and stress (that's what gambling is ... you get nothing in return except stress!).

It makes me smile that you, Stephen and countless other good souls here haven't given these cynical, grasping casinos one penny.  Because we are choosing life.  You are choosing life!
