After numerous attempts to stop online gambling (sports) I’m currently 65 days into my journey.

As many people say the urges do get less over time but do return when triggers come up e.g. the start of the football season.

I personally use a family photo I look at when my urges come. I also put the amount I would have gambled each week into a separate bank account. It makes me visibly see how the ‘odd bet’ here and there adds up.

Hi @pontefract-pigeon

That's great news , be thankful for.each day gamble free. A great start already. Replacing bad habits with good ones and knowing your triggers.

It takes hard work but so worth the effort. My son is now 18 month gamble free. Still works hard with it every day but reach out when days feel tough

Create your new norm . Amazing work
