Well done CG, an amazing achievement. I have read through your diary and can find so many similarities with my situation. One thing I have recently worked on is not to look back in anger or regret. I found thst can be virtually as destructive as gambling itself. It has happened, we can’t change it but we can change the future.

Keep fighting those urges!

439 days

currently supposed to be working on a great opportunity but very much procrastinating, feel a bit teery reading some other diaries, very aware that I'm very tired and could really do with a holiday. A proper family holiday but so much else needs paying for and still some residual debt, on a 0% card. Want to get fit, submerse myself in counselling, reduce my workload, move house all the time being a better father and husband, a better person.

life is short and whilst I'm making better decisions that 439 days ago I'm still not doing what I need to do let alone what I want to do.

Need to get a grip here and get things moving forward

Go easy on yourself Dan... you’ve done fantastically well to keep it all together and stay on track. Reading through your diary was eye opening and there were so many pockets of your tale that I could relate to. It’s given me a bit more focus in my recovery journey so thanks for sharing.

Hi dan don't forget to live life too. Too much stress is not good.
