Day 14/ 2 weeks,

This will be a short post as I am on a 24 hour duty but another day no gambling. I am doing this post on my mobile so its nice to know I can access this site on the move as long as I get 3G lol!

Thanks everyone who has posted such positive comments on my diary I really appreciate every comment it keeps me going knowing I have a lot of support tomorrow I will get back on my laptop and write on your diaries too. Have a good night everyone

A nice hot day again but couldn't enjoy it due to work and now I am tired after a 24 hour duty so going to keep this short and sweet until tomorrow when I hope not to be as tired.

Well today was hard going due to work decisions that have really affected my personal life and i was so angry but I managed to resist gambling and just fizzle out the anger I don't know how but I did.

Hey blondie thanks for your post ye I think i may try that this thursday as long as I have time in the evening. I should have this weekend off all being well so I can spend time with my missus an family etc. Well done on 36 days that is really good and I hope to be there soon aswell 🙂

Great to see you posting and remaining bet free! I just read back my post to you and i said take this one day at a time and you will be surprised how quick yh days mount up! Well I posted that on your day 5 and today I read you are at 16 which proves my point! You are approaching this in exactly the right way, and you seem to have 1. a real determination to stay bet free and 2. A very supportive nature which helps others!

Keep up this good work and remember you are doing something really great by stopping so enjoy your recovery!

Today was another challenge I got PAID.

But I stayed strong and again another day gamble free. I think this road to recovery is like an assault courses some days you can get over the obstacles and other days you have a big 12 ft wall which you need some help to get over and for me being on this site with the diary and all your support i can get over those days with the walls in front of me.

So i thank everyone who posts on here and i will try help others who need that boost to get over their obstacles. Stay strong

A good day today. I am finally home for the nice long weekend even though it doesn't look too nice outside right now. Going strong now pay day is here and i got money i just got to stay away from machines i got ways of dealing with it like only carry what money you need and no bank card but im keeping them demons well at bay 🙂 stay strong and have a nice diamond jubilee super long weekend 🙂

Hey Blondie ye was good in that G.A meeting i had to leave early because the place that does wifi was closing but i enjoyed it and will be back next thursday take care and well done on the 39 days 🙂

Hey everyone hope your all enjoying the weekend. The weather isn't so good but it is nice to know I don't have work until Wednesday. Making the most of this weekend which is so much better than wasting it sat in the bookies the whole time. I just feel like the days last longer now that I don't sit in the bookies worrying if I am going to lose all my money.

The benefits off gambling are definitely showing not so much in the finance part because I have a lot to pay back but eventually if I carry on gamble free I will definitely be better off.
