Afternoon diary.

A day off for me today, the only one I will get this week, as Valentines means a busy one for Duncs.

Me I cant wait for tomorrow!!!!!

Pancake day!!

Me and our youngest would make pancake day every day if we could I love em, any way they come, so tomorrow I will gladly become a t****r for the Day lol!!!!!

Sarah had to come home from work, she put herself straight to bed, a virus of sorts, so the dogs are keeping her warm and I will keep her dosed up.

No bet today

A choice after topping up my resolve here was made all that little bit easier.

Just for today I choose to better my tomorrow.

right off to sort out supper, Maybe a trial run for me and Callum

Evening diary

well Sarah is still in bed knocked over by the bug.

So home from a days work to face the washing basket, the housework and all done including muddying the hounds so much i had to bath them lol. Supper of cold meats and mash followed by a plate of delicious pancakes!!!!

So all worth it.

Now enjoying the first of many games of football to be enjoyed on tv this week

great to enjoy it for the sport it is, no formulating bets or shouting at the tv when the wrong team scores.

why??

because today i made a choice just for today.

No bet today.

so back to the second half!!

I am saddened by the fact that the changing of the editing facilities have caused some ill feelings on the forum.

My belief is I willingly give my diary to the public through this forum. i thank gamcare wholeheartedly for the help i Have received.

The sad side of edited diaries is ADE deleted his diary and through that we lost his page 420. one of the most inspiring diary entries i read.

it is pinned to my fridge, each day it helps.

each day i remember that.

I totally get that recovery is bespoke and folk have to do what is best for them, me i want to share my recovery.

last year in my ga the record stood three out of one hundred made a gamble free year.

My goal make that four.

Just picking up on your thoughts there...i don't think the worry with folks is about giving their diary to the public, its more about postees having the creative control over the information thats put out which ultimately should be the decison of the writer.

Authors have editors as you know and by the time we the public read the book it has been altered from its rough draft and the author can retract or add what they want..

In that process the editor and the author both are working to the same jointly decided process and contracted goal..with no edit button and no means for proper negotiation it is the equivalent of an editor sending out a rough draft book for high street sales and totally over riding the authors wishes or concerns to alter anything.

Anyhoo..your revovery is fantastic and Wow the stats are amazing...3/100 ...and you are one of the 3....!!

well a busy week at work for me which you won't hear me complaining about.

managed to get my beloved valentine a nice bouquet and a card, the first time for a few years.

and great to do something without an alterier motive.

just purely for the love of it.

a great feeling.

busy couple of days to end the week so will catch up Monday.

only downside to things is my bike can't take the pace lol.

me thinks a new one may be my new target.

no bet today. a choice which betters tomorrows outlook.
