Hey Duncan

I was moping around the site all day yesterday, trying to do anything but gamble. I was looking to see if any of the old accounts were still active but I struggled to find anyone. Also, the site has changed a lot so in truth, I struggled to navigate it.
Anyway, I went to bed and at exactly 3am, I sat bolt upright and thought ‘Duncan’…. So I scrambled back on to the site to find you. 

I am so sorry to read about your previous health issues and I have to say, it’s a little worrying that you haven’t posted in so long. I very much hope you’re ok.

Yeah Duncan is a ledge... A truly thoughtful individual who laid it all down... No ego, no delusion, just pure, unadulterated truth. Which was like gold dust to a gambler trying to make good of the day in front of him... This diary will help SO MANY people... One for the turtles, rather than the hares!

I always remember when GamCare first let people attached pictures to their profiles, then advised people not to post pictures of themselves, to protect their identity. But Duncan happily posted a picture of his face, and explained that this is who he was, warts and all... He had nothing to hide and everything to share (words to that effect)

Someone whose spirit lifted many, a Duncan post in the morning got me out of bed and gave me a fighting chance to take the day on. Sir, we salute you!

Hope you're well, wonder if you are still cheffing, and whether you've managed to slow down on the graft a bit 😁 amongst your many inspirations, you also inspired me to dig in and graft my way back to dry land... Thank you! 🙏
